Craziest fish story?

My craziest fish story was landing a Goliath Grouper. I had to run the rope between cleats on the boat to get the beast to the surface. It was like pulling up a school bus! Another crazy fish story happened when we were filming season 2 of Pro Vs Joe in Alabama. My 13-year-old son was on the other side of the lake and caught a 12.6-pound bass on a ned rig while we were struggling to catch 3 pounders. Mason has some great fish catching skills!

Who got you into fishing?

My dad. We were on a camping trip at a local lake when I saw a small buddy tournament weighing in… I was amazed and told my dad I wanted to be a professional bass tournament angler. He has been supportive my entire career.

Where do you wish you were right now?

Off shore fishing in Florida

Deer Hunting Outfitter or Hosting Hunting TV show

Least favorite part of your job?

The long hours of driving. I love that we get to travel the country and see so many places…but the driving can be tough.

What makes a good fisherman?

Dedication. Drive. Hard work. Versatility and Flexibility.
